Booming out of Jerusalem in 1996, Hadag Nahash has become the biggest Israeli band to break onto the international music scene. Their music combines fresh hip-hop, rock, reggae and funk sounds, bringing forth right grooves with Middle Eastern flavors. Rapidly gaining recognition over the years, they have won awards including: best band of the year, album of the year, and best video of the year among many others.

Hadag Nahash's success has paved their way to sharing stages with international acts such as: The Black Eyed Peas, Cypress Hill, The Streets, and Leeroy (Saian Supa Crew). Both socially and politically aware, Hadag Nahash have utilized their music to critique and comment on the local government. For example, in December 2009, Hadag Nahash released its first single in almost four years; a protest song against the rising internal violence in Israeli society, called "One More Brother". A second single, "Shir Nehama," was released in February 2010 and reached #1 on the Israeli charts.
